Fortifications & Undulations
Ancient undulating landscapes; knolls, combes, bottoms and everything else that makes them extra special: hill forts/hill camps, castles, chalk figures, by/pathways,
windswept trees and wildflowers.

A Great View - Alton Barnes
One of my favourite views from Walkers Hill looking over to Knapp Hill and the Neolithic camp on the left, then towards Oare Hill (I believe?!). Spanning across the Vale of Pewsey, when zoomed in close enough you can just about make out the white blob that is the Pewsey Horse.
Reflections in Shadow
Looking out towards Milk Hill, Wiltshire. A gorgeous sunset from Gravel Hill carpark after a trip around Fyfield and the Devils Den. I just love how the shadow of the hill in the foreground compliments the shape of the hills in the background.
Storm Over the Byway
A hot day in July on White Sheet Hill, Mere Down, Wiltshire. The clouds were building and the sky was increasingly more dramatic. I was walking back to the car expecting thunder and lightening, yet the storm was all "blue sky and hot air" but it did create this impressive scene along the byway.
Hillside Views
A hot day and stormy skies in July - White Sheet Hill, Mere, Wiltshire. The clouds were building and the sky was increasingly more dramatic. Here's a tree on the edge of the hill fort, looking out towards Castle Hill and Duncliffe Hill in Shaftesbury.
The View from Great Bottom
A hot day in July on White Sheet Hill, Mere, Wiltshire. The clouds were building and the sky was increasingly more dramatic. I love the alignment of the hills around this area, here we are looking out towards Castle Hill and Duncliffe Hill in Shaftesbury.
Which way to Alfred's Tower?
Looking over the iron age hill fort of White Sheet hill (Mere, Wiltshire) and over towards King Alfred's tower. White sheet hill is one of my favorite places, something about it raises my "vibrations", wondering the hill I feel a sense of freedom and intrigue, another place packed full of history.
Pink Horse
Broad Town white horse, Wiltshire. The sky turned a stunning pink/salmon colour as the sun set, perfectly complementing the yellow Rapeseed Field.
Park Hill Camp Tree
A particular tree that took my fancy at Park Hill Camp, Stourhead, Wiltshire. A stunning Iron Age Hillfort without the climb, not far far St. Peter's Pump!
Hackpen Hill
Hackpen Hill, nr Avebury, Wiltshire. Gorgeous horses and "w" shaped crop circle in the distance.
Park Hill Camp - Bluebells
The stunning Iron Age Hillfort of Park Hill Camp, Stourhead, Wiltshire is covered in bluebells in April/May.
Moth and Musk
Cinnabar Moth on a stunning Musk Thistle taken at White Sheet Hill, Mere, Wiltshire. If you can't already tell, Musk Thistles are on of my favourites due to their bright flowers!
Wildflowers of White Sheet
Not only is White Sheet hill my favourite place for it's history and views, but also the variety of wildflowers you can find here. Here is a pink Common Spotted Orchid standing proud.
Thistles on the Hill
Beautiful Musk Thistles on White Sheet Hill, Mere, Wiltshire. Duncliffe Hill blurred but standing out in the background. I was struck by their colour and shape.
Airbus & Rainbow
Stormy skies, an Airbus and an interesting rainbow over Rodmead Hill, Wiltshire
Sun Come, Moon Go
A pink sunrise over Lyneham on a February morning, Wiltshire.
Sunset Over Roundway Down (3/3)
Silhouette of the trees that sit atop the iconic Roundway Down/Oliver's Camp, Devizes (Wiltshire), the November sun casting a golden light.
