Follies, Trees & Woodland

Aside from photographing standing stones, I get most of my enjoyment capturing trees and woodland. The re-awakened sense of wonderment and curiosity felt deep in nature takes you back to childhood, often spending 3 hours only walking 3 miles! Time is lost while every detail is examined!
Some impressive follies can often be found in some of the UK's most beautiful settings, almost "competing" with their surroundings, the inner child begging to be king or queen of the castle!
